Risk Advisory Notice
Ice skating is a fun and active experience but is also a recognised risk activity / sport. We aim to provide a safe rink, with trained staff and protective equipment. However, participants must realise due to the inherent risk involved in ice skating the risk cannot be totally eliminated.
The risk involved includes but is not limited to the following:
- Minor to major injury when walking with skates to access the ice.
- Minor to major injury from walking with skates leaving the ice.
- Minor to major injury from slips on the ice.
- Minor to major injury from collision with other skaters.
- Minor to major injury from collision with structures.
Helmets, knee pads & elbow pads are available at the rink and we recommend you use the equipment provided. In particular we would recommend all children wear the helmets provided.
To help us provide a safe activity please read carefully the Safety Guidelines and ensure the guidelines are clearly communicated to any minors in your care.
When purchasing your ticket, you are acknowledging and accepting the risk involved in skating at our ice rink. If purchasing a ticket on behalf of a minor you are accepting the risk on their behalf. You agree you will not hold Blue Martini Group their employees, representatives or agents responsible for any injury sustained (either by your or a minor you are responsible for) which does not arise from a negligent act or omission of Blue Martini Group.
